1. Is the contractor an "APPROVED" partner of Hampshire County & Southampton City Councils' “Buy with Confidence” scheme?
Trading Standards check all prospective partners prior to them joining the scheme.

2.Have propspective contractors been CRB checked?
This is a requirement to be a member of the "Buy with Confidence" scheme.
3. Is the propspective contractor a member of the National Federation of Master Window & General Cleaners?
This is important because members of the NFMW&GC must hold valid liability insurance:

4.Can prospective contractors provide bona fide references from existing customers?
You must choose a cleaning contractor with a proven track record; a contractor who can give you referrals of current customers, complete with phone numbers you can call.
